Committee of the Global Majority

The mission of the Multicultural Concerns Committee is to advance attentiveness to race, ethnicity, and culture in psychoanalytic theory and the psychoanalytic community. We create a space within Division 39 for clinicians of color and our allies and work to introduce new voices of color to the psychoanalytic community. We support psychoanalytic scholarship concerning race, ethnicity, and culture, and serve as a meeting point for scholars of different academic backgrounds to learn from and with each other.
