PSYCHOANALYTIC PSYCHOLOGY

Psychoanalytic Psychology serves as a resource for original contributions that reflect and broaden the interaction between psychoanalysis and psychology. Manuscripts that involve issues in psychology raised by psychoanalysis and issues in psychoanalysis raised by psychology are welcome.

The journal, a quarterly, publishes research papers, clinical papers, literature reviews, clinical notes, brief reports, commentary and book reviews.

New manuscripts submitted to Psychoanalytic Psychology will be handled by the current editor's editorial board

PsycSCAN: Psychoanalysis

All subscribers to Psychoanalytic Psychology have internet access to PsycSCAN: Psychoanalysis, at no additional cost.

Online Access to Psychoanalytic Psychology

If you are an APA member or if you already have an established APA account, please login with your current user name and password. If you are not an APA member or do not have a current APA account, please register for an account.  When registering, use the email address you used to sign up with Div. 39 as your user name, and create a unique password.

Once you’re logged on, scroll to the "Journals" section under the "Subscriptions" heading.  Psychoanalytic Psychology is listed in the “Journals” section. To view the journal, just click on Psychoanalytic Psychology. From here, you can view the citation and full text of any article published in the journal. Please note that you will be able to browse all of the journals in APA’s PsycARTICLES database; however, you will have access to the full text of only those to which you subscribe.

Once you are logged in, you can likewise sign up to receive Psychoanalytic Psychology alerts in your inbox! This is an easy way to stay abreast of the newest articles published in the journal, sent once per week. Simply visit the journal website and select “Sign Up for E-mail Alerts” in the right-hand column of the home page.
