We have several psychoanalysts on our core faculty, and most supervisors are analysts or psychodynamic psychotherapists. Besides the usual core courses, we have a two-semester required sequence covering major psychodynamic theories. We also offer child, adult, and assessment tracks that incorporate psychodynamic conceptualizations, and courses in short term, family, and group psychotherapy that are all psychodynamic. Many of our students obtain dynamic internships and postdoctoral fellowships, and some have gone on to psychoanalytic training. |
